Taken at 4:30am on the 8th of June 2014, dawn comes early in Norwegian summers. The firey colours making a dramatic counter point to the tranquil scene looking across the fjord to the layers of mountains with the jetty in the foregound. The scene belies the busy and industrial activities of a port mainly related to the off-shore oil industry, showing that, with good management, these activities can co-exist with good natural environment protection.
