Duff House is a stately home in the Northeast of Scotland between Banff and Macduff on the banks of the River Deveron. This Painting was inspired by a photograph taken by Charlie on one of the paths on the wooded grounds that surround the mansion. It leads from the old family Gothic style mausoleum back to the main house. The bluebell flowers in the painting are a protected flower in Scotland.
Our Auntie Mary works at the house in the gift shop, we have visited it numerous times, and it is only about 12 miles from our home in Cuminestown, Scotland.
