Artist's Description
The photograph was taken while we were on holiday in the Loch Ness area on the west coast of Scotland. White Bridge is a bridge that is no longer in use and as you can see in the photograph technically goes nowhere any longer. It generally just has foot traffic these days. It was built as part of Wades Military road, a road intended for troops to move quickly in the aftermath of the Jacobite Rebellion in 1745. It was on the way to Fort Augustus.
